how to launch a token from claude, in detail

before you start

you need three things.

• a claude account. web, desktop or mobile. the free plan allows one custom connector, which is all ponsclaud needs.
• a logo on the web. a public https link to an image: png, jpg, gif, webp, svg or avif. host it anywhere; ponsclaud fetches it once to check it is an image and then uses the link as is. no link for your logo yet? put it at ponsclaud.com/logo and use the link it gives you.
• a wallet address you control. the 0x address that will receive creator fees. ponsclaud never asks for a private key or a signature. any evm wallet works; you claim the fees on pons with it.

ponsclaud pays the launch fee and the gas. you pay nothing, and there is nothing to approve in a wallet.

add the connector

1. in claude, open customize, then connectors, then add custom connector.
2. name it Ponsclaud and paste the url:

3. keep the detected sign-in option and press add, then connect.
4. a small page opens with one button, connect ponsclaud. press it once. that is the whole sign-up: no email, no password, no wallet.
5. in a chat, press + and turn ponsclaud on. four tools appear: prepare a launch preview, confirm and launch, my token, recent births.

the install link below fills the dialog for you; you still press add and connect.

if the sign-in page answers with an error instead of the button, remove the connector and add it again.

what to say

talk normally. claude turns your sentence into a preview. one message with everything in it works best:

what you can set at launch

name

1 to 64 characters. shown on pons and in the registry.

ticker

1 to 16 letters or digits, uppercase. the $ is optional when you type it. pons allows duplicates, so a ticker being taken does not stop you.

description

up to 500 characters. shown on pons and on your registry page.

logo

a public https image link. checked once (it must answer with an image), then used as is, no pinning. no link yet? put the file at ponsclaud.com/logo.

creator fee wallet

the 0x address that earns the creator share of every trade, on the curve and after graduation. it is written into the token at birth. ponsclaud cannot change it later; the wallet itself can, on pons.

pair

optional, eth by default. the asset your token trades against on the curve: eth, USDG, cbBTC, or a tokenized stock such as NVDA, GOOGL or AMZN. anything pons approves works, by symbol or by its token address. the preview says what the curve graduates at in that asset. the heads up on the card means what it says: buyers need that asset in their wallet to buy on the curve, so a stock pair usually sees fewer buyers than an eth pair. creator fees are paid in the pair asset. you need none of it to launch.

socials

optional: twitter, telegram, discord, website, farcaster. shown on pons.

your sentence

optional. the words you used are recorded on the registry page as the sentence that created the token.

what ponsclaud fixes for every launch

• supply 1,000,000,000, all of it on the pons bonding curve at birth. no team allocation, no initial buy.
• graduation pons sets the amount for the pair you chose (4.2 eth on the curve for an eth pair). after it, a uniswap pool with the liquidity locked forever.
• fees the standard pons trade fee, creator share to your wallet. no creator tax, no buyback, nothing to ponsclaud.
• deployer the ponsclaud wallet. that is the birthmark: any token whose deployer is the ponsclaud address was born in claude.
• quota one launch per connection, ever.

preview and confirm

preview checks your inputs, fetches the logo, saves the fee wallet, and shows a card with everything that will go onchain. nothing is sent. a preview stays valid for a day, and you can ask for another one with changes.

confirm is the one irreversible step. claude asks you before running it. ponsclaud then checks that pons accepts launches, simulates the launch, sends it from its wallet and waits for the block. you get the token address, the pons link, the registry number and the transaction.

• if anything fails before the launch is sent, nothing is spent and your launch is still available. try again.
• if the launch is sent but the network is slow, claude says so. ask how is my token doing a minute later.
• the quota is used only by a successful launch.

after the birth

• my token in claude: price, market cap, progress to graduation, holders, and the creator fees waiting for you.
• trade on pons at the link claude gives you (also on your registry page).
• claim fees on pons with the fee wallet you named. ponsclaud never touches them.
• your page at ponsclaud.com/t/your-number: number, logo, description, your sentence, links and live stats.

the connector stays useful after your launch: keep it for the stats.

remove the connector

1. in claude, open customize, then connectors.
2. find Ponsclaud and choose remove.

what that does: your connection ends and its tokens stop working. your token stays on pons and in the registry; fees keep going to your wallet. ponsclaud never knew who you were, only the connection.

adding the connector again creates a new connection with a new launch. technically that is a second launch. we are not going to chase you, but the registry will remember.
